NUTRITIONAL SALES CONSULTANT
NUTRACEUTICAL SALES ROLE: You will be responsible for revenue growth in a defined territory by expanding our product line to natural healthcare providers like doctors, chiropractors, and nutritionists who prescribe our products for their patients at their clinics. As an outside sales person, you will be on the road, making in-person sales calls to doctors offices and chiropractors throughout normal business hours. You will receive ongoing support working with our director of sales, including training, a sales system to follow, product samples, marketing support, and help from an outstanding customer service team. We provide all the training and support you need, plus a proven plan for you to follow. COMPENSATION: As an independent contractor, you will receive a base salary plus a lucrative commission structure and be paid on the sales you generate. You will also have the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses. You will be working in an established territory and will also be awarded house accounts in your territory, based on performance. If you are the right person and follow our well-developed sales plan, you could exceed $100,000 in earnings during your second year with us. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own hours, most expenses, and taxes. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Deliver profitable new business revenue growth in assigned territory - Responsible for hunting/prospecting and closing business across assigned territory - Initiate sales calls and work assigned prospects, leads, and self-prospects within a given time frame to capture new customers - Establish, follow, and grow sales routes across assigned territory, achieving new business revenue growth - Attend marketing opportunities such as seminars and trade shows within assigned territory QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree preferred (particularly business, marketing, or related field), but not required - Minimum 3-5 years experience in sales environment, with nutritional products helpful - Experience in an activity-based “hunter” sales environment - Consistently meet or exceed quota for new business - Effectively manage a sales route schedule covering an assigned territory - Ability to be successful in an environment of continuous improvements and stretch targets - Ability to sell to and manage customer relationships with naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, nutritionists, etc. with the highest level of professionalism - Responsible for closing new business using a consultative sales approach
