BIOPAN provides very effective digestive aid formulas to support gastrointestinal function and overall health. BioPan is designed to be well tolerated and support both digestion and balancing of intestinal microflora.
The pancreas is a large gland located behind the stomach that has both endocrine and exocrine functions. The exocrine pancreas secretes digestive enzymes into the small intestine that facilitate breakdown of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. In pancreatic insufficiency, digestion and absorption of essential nutrients may become severely impaired.
BioPan provides lipase for fat digestion, protease for protein digestion, and amylase for carbohydrate/starch digestion.
