Nutra BioGenesis is proud to announce our Scientific Advisory Board for 2014. Nutra BioGenesis has partnered with successful doctors of integrity who have a passion to heal, teach and continue to expand their knowledge in the arena of Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM). BioGenesis’s Scientific Advisory Board is comprised of doctors that have extensive clinical experience and use BioGenesis products in their practices. The primary goal of the Scientific Advisory Board is to accumulate clinically relevant data with individual case studies of BioGenesis products in clinical practice.

As part of our commitment to provide clinically effective products to our healthcare providers, we would like to introduce our Scientific Advisory Board for 2014:

Emily Gonzalez, ND

Dr. Emily Gonzalez is the Chief Medical Officer and Director for Nutra BioGenesis. She is a graduate of Stanford University (BA Human Biology 1994) and Bastyr University (ND 2007). Prior to becoming a doctor, she worked in research at the Stanford Center for Research in Disease Prevention in California, where she worked on improving public health through community projects in tobacco cessation and violence prevention. After becoming a doctor, she had an active clinical practice and worked as lead practitioner at several integrative pharmacies. She also served as a technical advisor and Chief Medical Officer for BioGenesis Nutraceuticals. Now as Chief Medical Officer and Director at Nutra BioGenesis, she provides medical and scientific guidance for the development of the company, including chairing the Scientific Advisory Board and overseeing product development.

Dr. DiRienzo is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon, where she completed a residency in general family medicine. Following graduation, Dr. DiRienzo pursued a year of post-doctoral study in women's health through the Institute of Women's Health and Integrative Medicine. She served as adjunct clinical faculty for Bastyr University in Seattle for 10 years. Dr. DiRienzo also served as technical advisor at BioGenesis Nutraceuticals, Inc. from 2003 - 2014. Currently Dr. DiRienzo has a private practice in North Bend, Washington, and as a clinical consultant at Nutra BioGenesis, Dr. DiRienzo assists practitioners by providing technical support and information.
